Forthcoming Events:

MINDFUL LIVING  An 8 week programme and one-day retreat, developing practice in Mindfulness Meditation. This course is based on the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programme developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, and on Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, which is recognised by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence. Mindfulness helps you to be fully present in your life moment by moment, building a greater sense of appreciation and wellbeing, and enabling you to deal more skilfully with negative mood states such as stress and depression.

We will work through a structured programme of sitting, lying and moving meditation practices, as well as exploring ways of integrating Mindfulness into everyday life. The course fee includes a day retreat at a peaceful, out-of-town retreat centre.

Next course dates:

Wednesday 17th February 2010, at the Pierian Centre, Portland Square, Bristol BS2,

7.30 to 9.30pm (retreat day Sunday 21st March)
